Who We Are

Pictorial Charts Educational Trust is a publisher of vibrant, high quality resources for Primary and Secondary education. We produce wallcharts, photopacks, activity books and a range of other classroom accessories for all the major subjects of the National Curriculum.

A Charity and a Business

With a strong commitment to education, PCET has a charitable arm which provides funding and teaching resources for the advancement of education, especially in the developing world. Recent PCET donations have helped to provide buildings, furniture, equipment and resources to schools in more than 20 countries.

PCET Publishing is limited by guarantee. It is overseen by a council of management elected from its trustees, all of whom have a strong interest and background in education.

How We Began

Pictorial Charts began life in 1939 publishing statistics in a visual format for newspapers. Shortly after, this expanded to encompass a Service to Schools. In 1953 Pictorial Charts Services began publishing educational charts to be sold on subscription to schools. This activity continued for 30 years.

Pictorial Charts Educational Trust was formed in 1964.
